    What Are Cookies

    TL;DR

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites remember things about your visit.

When you visit Pocodot, we (and in some cases, third parties) place small data files called "cookies" on your device. Cookies help us keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you use our platform. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are optional and require your consent.

    How Pocodot Uses Cookies

We group cookies into four categories. You can manage your preferences at any time.

    Strictly Necessary

Authentication tokens, security features, and core platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.

    Functional

Personalization features like sidebar state and language preferences. Enhance your experience but are not required.

    Analytics

Help us understand usage patterns through anonymous session correlation. No personally identifiable information is tracked.

    Marketing

Pocodot does not currently use marketing cookies. If we add them in the future, they will require your explicit consent.

    Managing Your Cookies

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the button below or via the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of Pocodot from working correctly.

    • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
    • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
    • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
    • Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

    Third-Party Cookies

Pocodot currently uses Google Fonts, which may set cookies on your device. We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. If we integrate additional third-party services in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly. For a full list of our data subprocessors, see our Subprocessors page.

    Similar Technologies

In addition to cookies, we use the following browser storage mechanisms:

    localStorage

Stores your theme preference (light/dark), sidebar state, and cookie consent choices. This data never leaves your browser.

    sessionStorage

May temporarily hold form drafts during your session. Data is cleared when you close the browser tab.

Cookies held by Cole's browser. This policy covers cookies set by pocodot.ai. Separately, if you ask Cole to do something on another website, Cole's own browser (which runs on our servers) keeps the cookies that website sets during your task so that you stay signed in there between requests. Those cookies are held in your profile only, are never used for tracking or advertising, and are deleted when you log Cole out of that profile under Account, Config, Browser. See the Privacy Policy, section 3A.

    Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you via a banner on the site. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
