Contributor Program Terms

These Contributor Terms ("Contributor Terms") are a supplement to the Pocodot Terms of Service and govern your participation in the Pocodot Contributor Program ("Program"). By opting in, you agree to these Contributor Terms in addition to the general Terms of Service.

The Program is operated by Pocodot Labs, Inc. ("Pocodot", "we", "us", or "our"). If there is a conflict between these Contributor Terms and the general Terms of Service, these Contributor Terms control with respect to the Program.

The Pocodot Contributor Program allows eligible users to license qualifying media and data they share through Cole - including images, audio recordings, video clips, documents, text, and conversation excerpts - to be anonymized, packaged, and licensed to third-party AI research laboratories and companies ("Buyers") for the purpose of AI model training and evaluation.

Participation is entirely voluntary. You can opt in, pause, or permanently withdraw at any time through Cole or the Pocodot dashboard.

To participate in the Program, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have an active Pocodot workspace in good standing
• Own or have sufficient rights to license all content you contribute
• Not be located in a jurisdiction where participation would violate applicable law

By opting in, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

The Program is strictly opt-in. No data is contributed, licensed, or shared with Buyers until you affirmatively enroll through Cole or the Pocodot dashboard. We will never automatically enroll you or contribute your data without your explicit consent.

When you opt in, you grant Pocodot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing license to:

• Collect and store qualifying media you share through Cole after opt-in
• Anonymize, process, and package that media into structured datasets
• License those datasets to Buyers for AI training and evaluation purposes

You may pause contributions at any time (temporarily halting new data collection while preserving previously contributed data) or permanently withdraw (halting collection and marking all your prior contributions as withdrawn from future dataset sales).

"Contributed Data" means media and content you share through Cole after opting in to the Program. This may include:

• Images (photographs, screenshots, graphics)
• Audio recordings (voice notes, audio messages)
• Video clips
• Documents (PDFs, spreadsheets, text files)
• Text content and conversation excerpts

We do not retroactively contribute data shared before your opt-in date. Only data shared after enrollment qualifies for the Program.

You retain full ownership of your original content. The license you grant us is limited to Program purposes as described in these terms.

Before any Contributed Data is included in a dataset or shared with a Buyer, we apply anonymization processes designed to remove or obscure personally identifiable information ("PII"), including but not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers
• Faces and identifiable physical features (in images and video)
• Location metadata (GPS coordinates, place names)
• Account identifiers, workspace names, and user IDs
• Any other information that could reasonably identify you

While we use commercially reasonable efforts to anonymize all data, no anonymization process is perfect. By participating, you acknowledge this inherent limitation.

Your participation is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, store, and process personal data.

Contributors earn a share of revenue generated when their Contributed Data is included in datasets sold to Buyers. Earnings are calculated per accepted contribution based on data type, quality, and market conditions.

Current indicative rates (subject to change with 30 days' notice):

• Images: starting at $0.02 per accepted image
• Audio/voice: starting at $0.05 per accepted clip
• Documents: starting at $0.03 per accepted document
• Video: rate determined by length and quality
• Text/conversation: rate determined by length and language

Earnings accumulate in your contributor balance. Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect when your balance reaches the minimum payout threshold (currently $10.00 USD). You are responsible for providing accurate payout information and for any taxes owed on earnings.

Pocodot reserves the right to adjust rates with 30 days' advance notice. Rate changes do not affect earnings already credited to your balance.

Contributed Data is subject to quality review. We may reject contributions that are:

• Low resolution, corrupted, or otherwise unusable
• Duplicates of previously contributed content
• Containing content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy
• Not owned by you or contributed without proper rights
• Containing unremovable PII that cannot be anonymized

Acceptance decisions are at Pocodot's sole discretion. You will not earn for rejected contributions.

You retain all ownership rights to your original content. By participating in the Program, you grant Pocodot Labs, Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to:

• Reproduce, modify, and create derivative works of Contributed Data for anonymization and dataset packaging
• Sublicense packaged datasets containing your anonymized Contributed Data to Buyers for AI training and evaluation
• Store Contributed Data on our infrastructure for the duration of your participation

This license survives for data already included in sold datasets at the time of withdrawal. New datasets created after your withdrawal will not include your Contributed Data.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your Contributed Data does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

You may permanently withdraw from the Program at any time by messaging Cole or using the Pocodot dashboard. Upon withdrawal:

• No new Contributed Data will be collected
• Your existing Contributed Data will be marked as withdrawn and excluded from all future dataset sales
• Any pending earnings in your balance will be paid out according to standard payout terms

Please note that Contributed Data already included in datasets sold to Buyers prior to your withdrawal cannot be recalled or deleted from those Buyers' systems, as those datasets are governed by separate license agreements between Pocodot and the Buyer.

If you wish to request deletion of your Contributed Data from Pocodot's systems (independent of withdrawal), you may do so under our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

You must not contribute content that:

• Is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or promotes violence or discrimination
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Is intentionally misleading or designed to poison AI training data
• Contains sensitive personal information of others without their consent

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate removal from the Program, forfeiture of unpaid earnings, and termination of your Pocodot account.

No earnings guarantee. Participation in the Program does not guarantee any level of earnings. Revenue depends on market demand, data type, quality, and Buyer interest, all of which fluctuate.

As-is. The Program is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Program will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all Contributed Data will be accepted or sold.

Liability cap. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocodot Labs, Inc.'s total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Program is limited to the total earnings paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Contributor Terms as the Program evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email, in-app notification, or Cole message at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued participation in the Program after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may withdraw before the effective date.

These Contributor Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Dispute resolution follows the process described in our Terms of Service.
